The Pattie Group celebrates 40 years of making Mother Nature proud In 2008, The Pattie Group, a nationally acclaimed award-winning landscape development firm based in Novelty, OH, celebrates its 40th year of business. CEO Steve Pattie, a young entrepreneurial-minded visionary who wanted to provide high-quality landscape services, founded the company in 1968 simply with lawn care services. Over the years, Pattie added new services, new employees, new equipment, and new clients. Today, with nearly 100 experienced and educated landscape architects, horticulturists, project managers, highly trained installation experts, and landscape management professionals on staff, the Pattie Group acts as the landscape design, build and maintenance firm for many prestigious clients such as the Holden Arboretum, Cleveland Botanical Garden, and countless homes and businesses around Northeastern Ohio. Throughout the past 40 years, the Pattie Group has also won industry-wide recognition and numerous awards from regional and national organizations such as the Professional Landscare Network, Ohio Nursery Landscape Association, and Ohio Landscapers Association. Steve Pattie's team is not only still delivering incredible service these days, but the company has been preparing over the last several years for a transition to the second generation. His two sons Jonas Pattie & Brian Pattie, both of whom have the creativity, education and knack for the business like their parents, will begin the first phase of a five-ten year plan to incrimentally take ownership and will manage the company with the management team they have been a working part of for the last five years.
